UN, the Spanish Logistics and Transport Business Organization, and LINKA GROUP, leading company of advanced technological solutions specialized in the development of strategies ciberseguridad, have signed a collaboration agreement under which both entities will work together to raise awareness among companies about the importance of data and information protection, as well as to promote efficient management of computer security in companies in the sector.

The agreement has been signed by the president of the employers' association, Francis Aranda, as well as the CEO of GRUPO LINKA, Carlos Sánchez.

In the words of the president of UNO, Francis Aranda: “This alliance occurs at a strategic moment, because advances by leaps and bounds in the IT field, as well as global hyperconnectivity, force us to focus on security.” “The kidnapping or leaking of customer information and data, among many other issues, poses a truly high risk for the development of the daily operations of our companies, and, consequently, for their income statements,” he added.

And he concluded: “Our sector has become a technological activity and, therefore, highly exposed to cyber attacks and threats to its security. For this reason, we consider it essential to raise awareness among companies and professionals in the sector about the importance of having a trusted, solvent and highly experienced partner, such as the LINKA GROUP, to protect their businesses."

For his part, the CEO of GRUPO LINKA, Carlos Sánchez, has declared: "For our company, which has more than two decades of experience, joining the employers' association constitutes an unbeatable opportunity to contribute all our knowledge in cybersecurity to the logistics and transport sector in Spain."

“We have a lot of knowledge, experience, and highly qualified professionals to 'cyberprotect' companies in the sector in all the areas they may need,” he noted.

“Many companies still have shortcomings in the field of cybersecurity and our objective with this new agreement is to change that trend and begin now to add value and develop and implement personalized solutions among companies in the sector,” Sánchez concluded.
