GLS Group announces its expansion into Serbia and the acquisition of a major air and land transport operator in Canada

El GLS Group, a leading provider of parcel services, has announced its expansion to Serbia and the acquisition of a major air and land transport operator in Canada, Altimax Courier.

 

Now, the senders and recipients in Serbia can benefit from shipping solutions as convenient as GLS FlexDeliveryService, a service that makes it easier for the recipient to deliver the package according to their needs. With the operations center in Belgrade and three depots in the main cities: Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac, GLS now delivers packages to all addresses in Serbia and can connect its customers to international destinations. 

 

The GLS Group is confident that both the acquisition of Altimax Courier and the expansion into Serbia will further enhance its ability to meet the growing demands of both markets, guaranteeing its customers excellent service and support.

The integration of Altimax Courier to GLS network It allows Canadian customers to have greater coverage and capacity from an operator with extensive experience in the parcel and freight transport sector. Additionally, the addition of its network complements GLS Canada's existing infrastructure, expanding it to a total of 65 terminals across the country and providing high-quality services to a larger customer base.
