OHLA adds new recognitions for its actions in projects in the Czech Republic

OHLA, through its subsidiary OHLA ZS, has received several awards in Czech Republic for his actions in civil works and unique building projects.

 

During the Czech Transport Construction, Technology and Innovation Awards 2022, granted by the Ministry of Transport from the country, OHLA ZS received three awards. Two of them fell on the modernization of the railway line Sudoměřice-Votice and which received the Prize from the Ministry of Transport and in the railway construction category for increasing the speed of the line to 200 km/h and reducing the distance between Prague and Tábor to 1 hour, as well as to improve the comfort and safety of travelers. The third was for the II/484 highway project Hovězí-Huslenky, awarded in the road and highway construction category.

 

For its part, the project for the reconstruction of the dining room and the energy center of the Jihlava Hospital received the award from the Construction Business Association in the Building of the Year Awards 2022 of the Vysočina Region.

 

To these recognitions we must add two Building of the Year Awards 2022 of the Olomouc region for the works of the internal medicine pavilion of the Sternberk Hospital and the revitalization project of the Arroyo del Bečva River in the towns of Skalička and Černotín, who received a Certificate of Merit.

 

Finally, in the South Bohemia PRESTA Awards, organized by the Czech Association of Civil Engineers, the company won a prize and an honorable mention for the reconstruction works of the České Budějovice Exhibition Center and for the expansion and reconstruction of the emergency ward of the České Budějovice Hospital. OHLA also achieved second place in the Construction of the Year Awards 2022 of the South Moravian Region for the project II/377 Roundabout in Tišnov – Riegrova and Černohorská streets.
