Ivace+i International, dependent on the Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the employers' association Ascer have successfully organized a seminar on ceramics and architecture in Zurich (Switzerland), where nearly 200 professionals from the sector gathered.
The main objective of the seminar, titled "Architecture", was to publicize the latest applications and trends of Castellón ceramics in a strategic market such as the Swiss. The general director of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, Ester Olivas, highlighted the importance of this type of actions to "promote the uses of Castellón ceramics in strategic markets, through seminars aimed at prescribers and distributors."
The seminar program included presentations by two renowned architecture firms: Studio.Noju, which presented the interior renovation of an apartment in the white towers, emblematic work of the architect Sáenz de Oíza; and OAB Architects, with extensive experience in the use of Spanish ceramics and winners in several editions of the ASCER Ceramic Awards.
The participation of nearly 200 professionals in this seminar is a great success for the initiative, which has made it possible to publicize the latest trends and applications of Castellón ceramics in a market with great potential such as the Swiss market.
In addition, an exhibition space was set up where eight ceramic companies from the Valencian Community showed their new products to the attending professionals. The participating companies were Azteca, Cevica, Dune, Monopole, Rocersa, Stn, Natucer and Tempio.
For the organization of this seminar, Ivace+i International and Ascer have collaborated closely with the prestigious knowledge and debate forum "Schweizer Baumuster Centrale (SBCZ)". The seminar, entitled "Kerasmiche Architektur", was held within the framework of the SBCZ's program of activities aimed at architecture, design and engineering professionals.
"With this seminar we wanted to make local professionals aware of the offer of the ceramic sector of the Valencian Community, positioning ceramics'Tile of Spain'as a sustainable, avant-garde and innovative material," said Olivas.
The participation of nearly 200 professionals in this seminar is a great success for the initiative, which has made it possible to publicize the latest trends and applications of Castellón ceramics in a market with great potential such as the Swiss one. This action is part of the commitment of Ivace+i Internacional and Ascer to promote the internationalization of the ceramic sector of the Valencian Community and position it as a benchmark for quality, innovation and sustainability.
