The Czech-Spanish Economic Business Meeting strengthens commercial and technological ties in the green transition

 

The event was attended by the International Director of the Chamber of Spain, Jaime Montalvo, who highlighted the growing interest of Spanish companies in invest in Czechia, describing it as "a long-term investment commitment to the country's potential." Montalvo emphasized the attractiveness of "strategic public-private-based projects underway, and in fields such as decarbonization, renewables or sustainable infrastructure."

 

Spain and the Czech Republic have great potential to become leaders in the transition towards a more sustainable energy future, and these types of meetings are essential to identify opportunities and synergies 

 

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czechia, Edvard Kožušník, highlighted the opportunities and potential synergies that exist between the Czech and Spanish economies in various sectors, such as transport, energy, infrastructure or water management. Kožušník expressed confidence that this meeting will serve to "further strengthen commercial and technological ties between our two countries."

 

The meeting also featured the participation of leading experts in the field of green transition and renewable energy sources, as well as representatives of leading companies operating in both countries. During the meeting, the opportunities and challenges presented by the transition towards a more sustainable energy model, and avenues for collaboration were explored so that Spanish and Czech companies can work together in this area.
