The leading Swiss company in dermatology, galderma, has inaugurated its new Global Capacity Center en Barcelona, with which it plans to create more than 150 new jobs. The new 1.500 square meter facility will be dedicated to the growth and expansion of the company, offering support to its global activities in R&D, operations, commercial operations and training. In addition, it will function as an international recruitment and talent management center.

The choice of Barcelona as the headquarters of this new center responds to the city's strategic location, its ecosystem of startups, research and technology, and, above all, its "talent and ability to attract people from all over the world", such as highlighted the executive director of ACCIÓ, Joan Romero i Circuns, during the inauguration.
The life sciences sector, strategic for Catalonia, already represents 8% of the GDP of the autonomous community, and the arrival of Galderma represents a new boost to this key sector.
