Costa Rica is positioned as the main destination for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Spanish companies in sectors such as technology, life sciences, industry 4.0, services, advanced manufacturing and agri-food.

López concluded by emphasizing that the country has the necessary capabilities to offer advanced manufacturing and high-quality agricultural products. “Costa Rica is a country to do business in, and we are here to prove it,” he said confidently.

 

Mario Saez, export development manager of PROCOMER, also highlighted the importance of the Fair Fruit Attraction: “We are in Madrid with a delegation of almost 30 Costa Rican businessmen to showcase our export offering. This fair is very attractive for us, where we close deals year after year.”
