The prestigious RIU Awards gala, held at the Riu Palace Bavaro hotel, has honoured the most outstanding travel agents in the United States and Canada.

The seventh edition of the RIU Awards took place on December 4, 2024 at the luxurious hotel Riu Palace Bavaro, located in Punta Cana. This event brought together representatives from 30 agencies from U.S. and Canada, two key markets for RIU Hotels & ResortsThe gala not only rewarded the trust placed by these professionals in the hotel chain, but was also an opportunity to present the group's latest developments, such as renovations, openings and new services.
The Top 3 award-winning agencies included Inteletravel, Vacations To Go y All Inclusive Outlet from the United States; while from Canada they stood out RedTag Vacation, Journey to Rabais y Bergeron VoyagesGuests received a handcrafted award made from sustainable wood and enjoyed the exclusive Elite Club service during their stay.
In addition to the formal recognition, participants had the opportunity to explore the destination with the RIU Business Development management team, taking part in activities full of surprises that highlighted their commitment to the brand.
The winners were selected from among the agents with the highest production during the previous year. To participate in the next edition, scheduled for 2025, the partners must continue to collaborate closely with RIU in joint vacation planning with their clients.
This celebration not only strengthens existing business relationships but also underlines RIU's ongoing commitment to offering exceptional experiences to both its members and guests.
