Radisson Hotel Group has announced the upcoming opening of the Radisson RED Porto Gaia in Portugal and the renovation of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Lisbon, thus consolidating the group's strategic growth in the region.

Radisson Hotel Group continues its expansion in the Iberian Peninsula with the opening of new hotels in Spain and the improvement of its offer in PortugalThe group has announced its debut in Malaga and Tenerife with the opening of the Radisson RED Malaga, a newly built hotel with a bold and suggestive design, and the Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife, an iconic resort that will be completely renovated.

 

In addition, the group continues to strengthen its presence in the region with the upcoming opening of the Radisson RED Porto Gaia in Vila Nova de Gaia, scheduled for late 2027. This hotel will have 250 rooms and an ideal location in front of the General Torres metro and train station, allowing guests easy access to the main tourist attractions of Porto.

 

Radisson Hotel Group has also announced a substantial investment in the refurbishment of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Lisbon, which will begin in 2025. This renovation will allow the group to improve the guest experience and consolidate its position in the Lisbon hotel market.

 

In recent years, Radisson Hotel Group has strengthened its presence in Spain and throughout the Iberian Peninsula with the opening and signing of several notable hotels, such as the Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia; the Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Via Bilbao; the Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla; the Radisson RED Madrid; the Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote and the signing of the first Radisson Collection hotel in the heart of Madrid.

 

With a portfolio of more than 10 hotels in operation and under development, the group has launched an ambitious growth plan, with clear commitments to expand in popular tourist destinations such as the Balearic Islands, the Costa del Sol and the Canary Islands, in addition to its expansion plans in major urban centres and large cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Seville, Malaga, San Sebastian and Valencia.
