Oscar Puente travels to Oslo

Spanish companies are interested in major infrastructure projects in Norway

Spain's Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will travel to the Norwegian capital on 25 and 26 February to meet with his Norwegian counterpart, Jon-Ivar Nygård, and express his support for the interests of Spanish companies in the country's important infrastructure projects.

Óscar Puente will hold a meeting with the Minister of Transport of Norway to address issues of common interest in the field of infrastructure and decarbonisation of transport and to transfer the great technical capacity and international experience of Spanish companies in the sector, which have the full support of the Government of Spain.

 

In addition, he will intervene in the ICEX Forum on Transport Infrastructure held in Oslo and includes the participation of the main organisations and companies in the sector.

 

It will address the new Norway's National Transport Plan for the period 2025-2036, which focuses on sustainability, digitalisation and national security of roads, railways, ports and airports.

 

The minister will take advantage of his stay in the city of Oslo to meet with Spanish companies with presence and interests in the country and visit the works of the station Fornebu Metro, which is being carried out by the Spanish company Dragados.
