The iconic Adolfo Domínguez brand opens a sophisticated space in Lisbon

The Spanish firm has opened a new space in El Corte Inglés on Avenida Antonio Augusto de Aguiar, in the heart of Lisbon.

Inspired by the city's rich architectural heritage, the store promises to offer a unique shopping experience, merging the essence of the Portuguese capital with the brand's distinctive style.

 

Adolfo Domínguez has strengthened his presence in Lisbon with the opening of a new 63 square meter space on the ground floor of El Corte InglésThis establishment, which joins the eight points of sale that the brand has had in the city since its arrival in 1998, is distinguished by its design inspired by Lisbon architecture.

 

"We wanted to create a space that pays homage to the beauty of Lisbon," said a spokesperson for Adolfo Dominguez during the opening. "The materials and colours we have chosen reflect the light and atmosphere of the city, from the cobbled streets to the iconic tiles."

 

The design of the space incorporates noble materials such as whitish limestone, which evokes the characteristic pavement of Lisbon streets, and granite Sodalite Blue, whose blue tones are reminiscent of traditional Portuguese tiles. The colour palette, dominated by white and blue, seeks to reflect the luminosity and charm of the city.

 

The new space is dedicated exclusively to the collection of Adolfo Dominguez's wife, offering customers a selection of garments that combine the brand's timeless elegance with the latest fashion trends.

 

The opening of this new point of sale underlines the importance of Portugal as a second international market for Adolfo Domínguez.

 

According to data provided by the company, sales in Portugal experienced a remarkable growth of 27,1% between March and November 2024.

 

 

"Portugal is a key market for us," the spokesperson said. "We are very pleased with the reception we have received in Lisbon and throughout the country. We will continue to invest in our presence in Portugal, offering our customers products and services of the highest quality."

 

La internationalization is one of the fundamental pillars of Adolfo Domínguez's growth strategy. Currently, 62% of the brand's stores are located outside Spain, reflecting its strong presence in international markets.

 

With this new opening, Adolfo Domínguez reaffirms its commitment to excellence in design and quality, while celebrating the beauty and culture of Lisbon.
