The day began with a high-level meeting between President Sánchez and Prime Minister Chinh, where crucial issues for the strengthening political, economic and cultural ties between the two nations. At the end of this meeting, the signing of a Joint Declaration was formalized, laying the foundation for a future comprehensive strategic relationship, an ambitious goal that reflects the shared desire to deepen cooperation on multiple fronts.

 

In addition to the declaration of intent, five specific agreements were signed covering areas of vital importance to the development and progress of both countries. These agreements comprise a framework for political consultations to establish regular contacts and cooperation on matters of common interest, as well as the exchange of perspectives on regional and international issues. The Spanish Prime Minister also highlighted Vietnam's impressive sustained economic growth, close to 6% annually over the past two decades.
