Jordan, a booming market for Spanish companies: Madrid Chamber of Commerce explores opportunities

The Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services has focused on Jordan as a market with a promising future for Spanish companies. Given this situation, the event organized by the Chamber of Madrid sought to connect directly to Spanish and Jordanian companies, exploring Jordan's strategic advantages. Its key geographic location and government policies actively aimed at attracting foreign capital make it an attractive investment destination. This is evidenced by the ambitious development projects underway, valued at approximately €1.200 billion, and its extensive network of Free Trade Agreements with transcendental markets such as United States, European Union and various Arab countries and Türkiye.

Beyond its favorable economic situation, Jordan is immersed in an ambitious agenda of structural reforms with the support of institutions such as the IMF and the World BankIn the technological field, the country stands as a leader in the production of digital content in Arabic within the region. The meeting was attended by the prominent Jordanian ambassador to Spain, Raghad AlSaqqa, the International Director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Jaime Montalvo, the commercial attaché of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Jordan, Victor José Suanzes, the president of the Jordan European Business Association, Ali Murad, and a Jordanian business delegation.

 

Initiatives like this event, promoted by the Madrid International Chamber of Commerce, are essential tools for Spanish companies to explore new frontiers and take advantage of promising international business opportunities.
