A delegation from the Algeciras Bay Port Authority (APBA) and leading companies from the Spanish port sector have gathered in Oslo, Norway, to participate in the Nor-Shipping 2025 trade fair. The main objective is to market ship services and position Algeciras as a key energy hub for green fuels.

El Port of Algeciras has marked its presence in the Nor-Shipping Fair 2025, which has been celebrated since in Oslo City Hall of the Norwegian capital. This event, which this Thursday will commemorate its 60 anniversary at the Astrup Fearnley Museum, is a key meeting point for the global maritime industry.
La Port Authority of Algeciras (APBA) has a stand in the Spanish Pavilion, the B03-04b, which is supported by the ICEX - Spanish Institute for Foreign TradeIn addition, the Chamber of Commerce has provided financial support to displaced Port Community companies, within the framework of its program Global SME, co-financed by ERDF 2021-2027 and Provincial Council.
The Andalusian delegation is made up of representatives from the APBA and the Port Community, as well as renowned companies such as A. Pérez y Cía, Agunsa, Aiyon Abogados, ASG Shipping, BayPort, Crosscomar, Elcome Europe, Remesa, Sandvik Marine Electronics, Scamp Marine and Seapoole. Its mission is to promote the wide range of services to the ship offered by the Strait basin, including shipping agents, repairs, shipyards and fuel supply to vessels.
As part of the activities, the stand will host tomorrow Wednesday a Maritime Networking Meeting at 13:00 p.m., designed to establish contacts with clients and companies interested in operating in the port of the Strait.
