Galicia promotes its naval sector with a trade mission to Norway

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Maria Jesus Lorenzana, will depart and travel to Norway leading a distinguished delegation of nearly thirty Galician companies in the naval sector.

This trade mission, destined for Oslo, is led by the naval cluster, Aclunaga, the metal one, Asime, and the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo and VilagarcíaThey have the fundamental support of the Economic Institute of Galicia (Igape), through the programs Foexga (€2,4 M) and Galicia Exports Intermediate Organizations (€1,5M), recently called to promote the Capabilities.

The Nor-Shipping trade fair, held in Oslo from June 3 to 6, is a key meeting point for the naval and maritime transport sectors. In addition to the large Galician delegation, several companies from the region already have their own exhibitors at the event, including: Armón Shipyards, Ibercisa, Metalships, Progener-Grupo Emenasa and Aclunaga.

During her stay in the Norwegian capital, Minister Lorenzana also plans to meet with the Spanish ambassador to Norway, Alejandra del Río Nuevo, as well as representatives of leading companies in the aquaculture sector, thus expanding collaboration and business opportunities for Galicia.
