Spanish automotive suppliers presented their latest innovations at Automechanika Istanbul 2025, a key trade fair for the sector. The participation, coordinated by SERNAUTO and ICEX, underscores the sector's commitment to global expansion and the positioning of the "Made in Spain" brand in strategic markets such as Turkey.

From June 12 to 15, Istanbul became the epicenter of the automotive aftermarket sector with the celebration of Automechanisa 2025This large-scale event occupied 45.000 square meters spread over 15 pavilions and brought together more than 1.400 exhibitors from over 35 countries, establishing itself as a benchmark event for the Turkish market and the regions of Middle East.
La Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers (SERNAUTO), in a joint effort with ICEX Spain Export and Investments, led the Spanish participation. The Spanish Pavilion hosted leading companies in the sector such as Adaico, Ajusa, Alkar, Cojali, Fersa, Frenos Sauleda, Industrias Dolz, KW (Alko), PCEX Automotive, Phira and Talosa. This massive presence not only demonstrates the Spanish sector's commitment to internationalization, but also its constant search for new business opportunities in high-potential markets.
Türkiye, with its strategic position as an access platform to Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, plays a crucial role in the global automotive industry. To SERNAUTO, participation in this meeting was vital to enhance the offering of Spanish suppliers, promote Sectoral Spain Brand and highlight key attributes such as innovation, technological capability and strong customer focus.

Spanish companies attending Automechanika Istanbul 2025 agreed on the strategic importance of the event. Sonia López, president of the Foreign Trade Commission of SERNAUTO, stated: "Automechanika Istanbul represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing business relationships, generate new alliances, and reinforce the visibility of our brands in hard-to-reach, high-potential markets. Istanbul's geographic location at the crossroads of important trade routes, combined with the event's international prestige, make this fair an essential meeting point at the regional and European level."
During the fair, the digital platform was also unveiled 'Autoparts from Spain', an initiative that brings together leading suppliers in the automotive sector. Its main objective is make visible the offer of components manufactured in Spain and great export capacity of the Spanish automobile industry.
