The Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in India (OFECOMES) has confirmed its participation in Wings India 2026, Asia's largest civil aviation fair, with the aim of boosting the presence of Spanish companies in the world's third-largest aeronautical market.

The event will be held from January 28 to 31, 2026 in Hyderabad, India.
Through its profile on the social network LinkedIn, the OFECOMES announced that it will lead a trade mission to facilitate Spanish companies' access to this high-potential market. The initiative seeks to take advantage of the remarkable growth of the Indian aeronautical sector, projected at 5,6% annually until 2030, and its recent imports, which in 2024 reached $10.540 billion.
Wings India is a key platform for connecting with key industry players, including manufacturers, airport operators, maintenance and repair (MRO) companies, airlines, and government authorities. The fair is organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
This new mission follows the success of Spain's participation in the fair Aeroindia 2025 en Bengaluru, where OFECOMES organized a delegation of nine companies, including IndraDuring this event, Spanish companies held more than 70 business meetings (B2B and B2G), consolidating their presence in the sector.
