El Department of Industrial Property of Andalusia TRADE has recorded unprecedented activity during the first half of 2025, exceeding the 2.500 medical consultations attended to, a figure that demonstrates the growing awareness among companies, entrepreneurs and professionals in the region about the importance of protecting their intangible assets.
The provincial analysis shows that demand is more intense in Seville, with 593 queries, followed by Malaga (507) and Almeria (467). Other provinces such as Granada (398), Jaén (304), Córdoba (151), Cádiz (106) and Huelva (62) have also shown significant interest. Of all the inquiries, more than 500 come from entrepreneurial initiatives, which underlines the trend towards integrating industrial property from the initial stages of a business project.
In addition, a growing interest in internationalization, especially through the protection of registrations at the European level. This fact demonstrates the desire of Andalusian companies to expand and compete in global markets.
