This initiative, promoted by Proexca Foreign Promotion, seeks to equip companies with the necessary tools to enhance their international expantion.
Sustainability has established itself as a fundamental pillar in the textile industry, and this call directly responds to that need. The program is a collaboration between Canary Islands Fashion Islands and the island councils' fashion programs, with the aim of promoting local talent and innovation.
The industry response was remarkable, with a total of 34 professionals registered. After a rigorous selection process led by an expert external consultancy, eight brands were chosen. They will now begin a journey toward adopting practices and tools that promote the conscious and responsible fashion.
The consulting Slow Fashion Next will be responsible for delivering the training, which will be 100% online and fully subsidized. The program includes modules on sustainability, strategic communication, individualized technical diagnosis, and integration into the Slow Fashion Next Ecosystem.
The training consists of 10 one-hour classes, divided into seven theoretical sessions and three collaborative dynamics. In addition, each beneficiary brand will receive four one-hour individualized mentoring sessions, designed to address their specific needs. Upon completion, a certificate certifying the acquired skills will be awarded.
This training is expected to not only train companies in the principles of sustainable fashion, but also provide them with greater business opportunities, increase their market visibility, and integrate them into a community of professionals with similar values, thus consolidating the presence of Canarian fashion on the international scene.
