The conference, which will be held on September 24, aims to teach SMEs how to use this public instrument as a key commercial lever. FIEM, managed by the Secretary of State for Trade, finances foreign clients of Spanish companies and supports export and investment operations abroad. In 2024, the fund approved loans for more than 534 millones de euros.
The director of Info, Joaquin Gomez, highlighted the importance of this fund as a tool for the exporting companies from the region. "The FIEM allows international buyers to finance the deal here, which could be very attractive," he stated. Gómez added that the workshop's goal is for participants to leave with a clear plan to enhance their offering, increase their competitiveness, and close more deals abroad.
The session is designed to be eminently practical, with analysis of real-life cases and a step-by-step guide to structuring operations with FIEM support. It will also provide a space for attendees to address any questions they may have with experts and institutional leaders.
"Internationalization means selling better, not just in other countries," Gómez emphasized, highlighting that tools like the FIEM allow companies in the region to offer competitive financial terms to their international clients, which makes a decisive difference compared to their competitors.
This workshop is part of the Foreign Promotion Plan developed by Info and the Chambers of Commerce of the RegionThe event is aimed at CEOs and sales and finance managers of industrial companies in the region. Registration will be open on the Info website until September 23.
