Boosting the internationalization of Valencian startups in North America

Six Valencian startups explore the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of New York and Boston with Ivace+i International.

Ivace+i International, under the direction of the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, has completed a prospecting mission to two of the world's most prominent innovation centers: New York and Boston. Six startups participated in this strategic initiative to establish key contacts, understand the dynamics of these markets, and seek out entry opportunities in the United States.

The organism Ivace+i International has organized a crucial prospecting mission for six startups of the Valencian Community, taking them to the entrepreneurial ecosystems of New York and BostonThis action is part of the strategy of the General Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, led by Ester Olivas, to facilitate the global expansion of the Valencian business community.

 

Olivas stressed the importance of the initiative: "Six people participated in this action."startups' interested in Identify business enablers and connectors in ecosystems that are a reference at a global level, as well as knowing the implementation rules in a strategic market for our companies."

 

The choice of destinations is not accidental. The director general emphasized that "New York is the second most important ecosystem in the world, behind Silicon Valley, while Boston is a benchmark in scientific and technological innovation, especially in areas such as biotechnology, healthcare, robotics and artificial intelligence." The main objective of the mission is twofold: "to help our companies Identify emerging technology trends and collaboration opportunities, as well as exploring entry points into the U.S. market," Olivas explained.

 

This mission is part of those carried out by Ivace+i International in contact with the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Valencian Community and with the aim of facilitating its internationalization.

 

The Ivace+i International delegation in New York was responsible for organizing a full work agenda which allowed startups to learn firsthand about the opportunities in the North American market and the acceleration and incubation programs available.

 

In New York, companies held key meetings with specialized law firms such as Buhler Duggal & Henry Llp, and experts in implementation in the USA with the help of Tabs Inc. Founder. In addition, they established contact with Quay Accelerator, which drives startups in its entry into the US market through programs softlanding, mentoring and networkingThey also met with representatives of the technology accelerator and investor ERA Accelerator NYC.

The agenda also included a visit to the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in New York, where they obtained details about the local business and innovation ecosystem.
