The collaboration between the precast technology specialist moldtech y Duhalde Industries has culminated in the launch of an advanced industrial plant 5.000 m2 in FranceThe objective was to provide the French firm, specialized in PAC4UF type transformer substations, with the capacity to produce up to 1.200 units per year high technical standards and strictly complying with local regulations.

Transformer substations are critical infrastructure for medium- and low-voltage electrical networks, providing a safe and regulated environment. Given their common presence in industrial and residential environments, as well as in renewable energy projects such as solar and wind farms, the versatility, reliability and efficiency constructive are essential.

To achieve these results, moldtech designed a continuous, automated and secure process that integrates several key production systems:

Five 3D Molds for PAC4UF Transformer Substations: These molds allow the manufacture integral of the substations in a single concrete casting process. Its modular design facilitates adaptation to various configurations, ensuring a high dimensional accuracy crucial for the subsequent assembly of elements such as doors, grilles and electrical systems. The operational advantages include a significant reduction in production time and a uniformity in finishes and measurements.

Ten Fixed Tables for Slab Panels: Distributed between the cover slab and the transformer support slab, these tables allow the parallel moulding of the complementary flat panels to 3D structures. This ensures the parallel production to the main molds, increasing the total capacity of the plant and offering versatility for different types of booths.

180º Hydraulic Turner: This auxiliary equipment is an element essential for safety and efficiency. allows the safe and precise turning of the prefabricated three-dimensional huts, from their moulding position to the final orientation for installation on site. The supplied model, consisting of two modules and with a record capacity of up to 50 tons (the largest manufactured to date by moldtech), improves ergonomics and reduces risks by avoiding risky maneuvers with tandem cranes.

Carousel Line for Final Assembly: Designed as a solution for the serial production, the CAROUSEL system facilitates the entire process, from obtaining the structural elements to the final stages of finishing and electrical installation. With 36 workstations, allows a efficient and safe handling of the pieces, guaranteeing the operational continuity and standardization of the assembly, which translates into a reduction of assembly times y greater control over traceability.

This custom-designed, modular project consolidates the company's position as a technological leader in the European prefabricated sector, while meeting the demanding regulations of the dynamic French market.

The supply is classified as a 360° comprehensive solutionWhere moldtech Not only did it provide the equipment, but it also offered support in setting up a plant efficient, safe and oriented towards series production. The possibility of carrying out simultaneous processes (3D molds for structure, fixed tables for slabs) maximizes daily manufacturing capacity.

The project is aligned with the structural trends in the French market, one of the most dynamic in Western Europe in grid modernization and the energy transition. The growing demand for renewable energy infrastructure has driven the adoption of prefabricated solutions that guarantee speed of execution, technical traceability and structural resistance, such as ready-to-install substations.

With this new installation, moldtech consolidates its expansion in the European market and reaffirms its commitment to developing precast technologies tailored to each client, each application, and each production environment. This is an exemplary case of collaboration that combines high-level engineering, technological innovation and efficiency in the industrialization of construction.
