The macro objective of the Mexican Federal Government is to establish a railway connection that connects Mexico City with Nuevo Laredo. Ayesa strengthens its experience in railway infrastructure projects in Latin America
Ayesa will participate, in a joint venture with the company Cal y Mayor Asociados, in the supervision of two of these projects:
Querétaro–Irapuato Train: The first contract focuses on a section of 30,3 kilometers between Querétaro and Apaseo el Grande. This segment has a value of 8 millones de euros and an execution period of 27 months.
Saltillo–Nuevo Laredo Train: The second contract is significantly larger, covering 111 kilometers between Saltillo and Santa Catarina. The cost of this project is 10,6 millones de euros, with a term of 34 months.
In both cases, the consortium will have full responsibility for the supervision, control and monitoring of the design and construction.
