Nine Asturian companies from the technology and entrepreneurship sector participated in a prospecting mission organized by the Foreign Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias (Asturex) On Silicon Valley, from May 19 to 23. The main objective of this initiative was to immerse companies in the vibrant innovation ecosystem and latest trends of one of the world's most influential technology centers.
The participating companies were Dive Tech, GooApps® Ventures, Hola Place, Immersive Oasi, Less Than Three, Onirix, Resiz, SmartHood and TWave. This activity is part of the International promotion plan for the technology and entrepreneurship sector by 2025 of Asturex, part of the Sekuens Group, which seeks to strengthen the internationalization of Asturian companies.
Immersion in the Technological Heart
During their stay, the companies had the opportunity to visit some of the most influential technology corporations globally, including Meta, NVIDIA and Google, as well as innovative platforms such as Plug and Play and world-renowned knowledge centers such as the Stanford UniversityThe program also included sessions with inspiring speakers, ranging from product and business leaders from large companies to mentorship sessions with successful entrepreneurs.
The agenda included a networking event in San Francisco that facilitated contacts with industry leaders and the Spanish community in Silicon Valley.

Positive Evaluation of the Participants
Representatives of Asturian companies expressed their satisfaction with the experience.Edro Saez, from OnirixSaez highlighted the mission's triple impact in terms of vision, contacts, and opportunities. "Silicon Valley represents the most mature ecosystem in the sector, allowing us to experience firsthand how things are done in the 'big leagues,'" he commented, emphasizing meetings with representatives from NVIDIA and Meta that would otherwise be inaccessible.
For its part, José Ramón Blanco of TWave emphasized the strategic value of the trip to strengthen its presence in the American market and look for potential partners and investors. Finally, Alejandro AlbuerneResiz described the experience as "enriching and unparalleled," highlighting Silicon Valley's inspiring environment that "encourages you to never stop believing in what you do."
