Asturias lands in London, seeking to strengthen ties and conquer the British market

 

Asturex, the Foreign Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias, has organized a trade mission high level in the United Kingdom, in order to strengthen trade ties and explore new business opportunities for Asturian companies. The delegation, composed of Arppa Technologies, Image Analyst Processing, Joluvi, La Newyorkina and Neosentec, has established a schedule of personalized meetings with potential British clients, with the aim of presenting its products and services and establishing long-term business relationships.

 

“We are here to showcase the potential of Asturian companies and to explore the opportunities offered by the British market,” stated a representative from Asturex. “The United Kingdom is an important trading partner for Asturias, and we want to further strengthen this relationship.”

 

The trade mission also includes participation in the fair IFE London 2025, the biggest event of the United Kingdom for food industryThe fair brings together more than 1.500 exhibitors from around the world and offers a unique platform for Asturian companies to showcase their products and services to an international audience.

 

Asturex is developing an institutional agenda aimed at presenting the most relevant Asturian sectors, the potential of Asturian companies in the United Kingdom and learning about the commercial opportunities that this market presents.

The United Kingdom has become a key market for Asturian exports. In 2024, Asturian exports to the United Kingdom reached a record high of €512 million, representing a 43,3% increase over the previous year. This growth is partly due to the Brexit, which has led many British companies to look for new suppliers in other European countries.

 

“Brexit has created new opportunities for Asturian companies,” explained a representative from Asturex. “Many British companies are looking to diversify their supply sources, and Asturian companies are well-positioned to meet this demand.”
