15 Asturian startups seek to conquer the Mobile World Congress

A delegation of 15 Asturian startups is making a big splash at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the most important technology fair in the world, which is being held in Barcelona until February 29.

The initiative, promoted by the Principality of Asturias Foreign Promotion Society (Asturex), in collaboration with the European Business and Innovation Center (BIC) and the agency Sekuens, has the dual objective of positioning Asturias as a reference ecosystem for startups and opening new business opportunities for participating companies.

The Asturian stand, located in the space 4 Years From Now (4YFN), dedicated to the startup sector, becomes a showcase for the talent and innovation emerging in the region. The 15 participating companies, belonging to sectors as diverse as health, artificial intelligence, software development or knowledge management, present their technological solutions to investors, companies and potential clients from all over the world.

Asturias' participation in MWC 2024 is part of the strategy «Start in Asturias», promoted by the Government of the Principality, to promote the development and growth of startups in the region. This initiative offers a set of instruments that range from financing and advice to training and internationalization.

The presence of Asturias at the Mobile World Congress 2024 consolidates the Principality's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship as engines of economic development. The 15 participating startups are a sample of the talent and creativity that exists in the region, and their participation in this international event opens up a world of possibilities for them to grow and achieve success.
