La Official Spanish-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry was officially inaugurated in Madrid in 2011, with the purpose of creating an official body with the main function of promoting and assisting in strengthening relations between both countries in all sectors of activity. Throughout its existence, the Chamber has managed to become the reference framework for businessmen with interests in both countries, providing support and advice for their activities. Through meetings, conferences, workshops and networking events, the Chamber seeks to promote the exchange of experiences, interests and contacts that help increase relationships between Spain and Türkiye.
The Board of Directors has large Spanish and Turkish groups such as Amadeus, BBVA, Banco Sabadell, CaixaBank, Mapfre, Befesa, Indar, DLA Piper, Roca, The Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey (ISPAT) and Turkish Airlines (THY), among others. In addition, the Chamber is supported by all official institutions, being honorary partners of the Chamber, the Embassy of Spain in Türkiye and Turkish Embassy in Spain.
The Chamber, in coherence with the objective of being an institutional instrument that promotes economic, commercial and cultural relations between Spain and Turkey, wants to recognize through the granting of these Awards, to those Spanish and Turkish people, institutions or entities that, with their activity and dedication, have stood out for their contribution to greater mutual knowledge or a higher level of interrelation between both countries, in the commercial, cultural and social fields.
The ceremony of the Fourth Edition of the Awards Ceremony of the Official Spanish-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take place on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, from 19.30:21.30 p.m. to 22:XNUMX p.m. at the Hotel Villa Magna (Paseo de la Castellana, XNUMX, Madrid).
