Bluence positions Isotrol as a reference in the monitoring and control of renewable energies

Interview with Beltrán Calvo, General Director of Isotrol

The company was born in 1984 as an entrepreneurial project of seven engineers from the University of Seville. Today, Isotrol is made up of more than 195 workers.


Precisely this “link to the University and the commitment to innovation”, with an investment in processes of R+D around 10% of the annual turnover, have been the keys that have led to Isotrol al national and international success, point Beltrán Calvo, CEO and general director at Isotrol.

 

Endesa, Gas Natural or Iberdrola are some of their national clients, who have allowed them to project their first experiences in the Capabilities. “In 2008, we were leaders in our national environment and we approached a first experience with strategic clients. Currently, Isotrol has branches in London (United Kingdom), Boston (United States), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago de Chile (Chile), Mexico City (Mexico), Wejherowo (Poland) and Seville, where the headquarters is located. This international network allows them to develop projects in more than 35 countries and with an export quota of around 45%.

 

Likewise, in this commitment to internationalization, Isotrol highlights its Bluence product, a platform aimed at the management, monitoring and control of renewable energy plants. To enhance the brand Bluence, Isotrol went to Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency to carry out a brand image consulting project before going to market. “Bluence took his first steps thanks to the recommendations and service of extend"he insists Manuel Losada, CCO at Isotrol.

 

Isotrol's international strategy for the coming years involves continuing to innovate in the renewable energy sector, allowing an increase in the company's presence in EEurope, North America and South America.
