BNEW 2025: The sixth edition of Barcelona New Economy Week will address the challenges of digitalization and sustainability.

The Barcelona Free Zone Consortium (CZFB) has presented in a press conference the sixth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), to be held in the DFactory BarcelonaThis year, the event promises to be a reflection of the productive economy, with a program that seeks to connect professionals from diverse sectors under the umbrella of the new economy. The seven thematic verticals to be addressed are: Digital Industry, Sustainability, Mobility, Aviation, Talent, Health and Experience.

Blanca Sorigué, general director of the CZFB, highlighted the event's value proposition: "BNEW is an event that connects and links different sectors because today we live in a global and interconnected society and economy, both geographically and sectorally. BNEW's key differentiator is that we connect different worlds, sectors that seemingly have nothing to do with each other, but which, thanks to the new economy, are interconnected and establish synergies to generate opportunities that would not otherwise arise."

With a focus hybrid Combining in-person participation with a state-of-the-art digital platform, BNEW 2025 seeks to maximize the networking and global reach. As a new feature, the digital platform will include BBot, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant designed to facilitate interaction and personalize the attendee experience.

The event will maintain a strong emphasis on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, with the participation of 120 startups that will showcase disruptive solutions in different verticals

Sorigué explained that "BNEW is a B2B event, aimed at professionals who make decisions in their companies, and it is very useful for them because they can interact with professionals from other sectors, with whom they have more difficulty establishing relationships." On October 1, the traditional awards will be presented to the best startups, selected from a total of 120 participants.

Within the framework of the presentation, the CZFB also revealed the data of the III BNEW New Economy Observatory 2025, a study conducted among 473 companies and startups. The report's results are revealing:
