Seven wineries of the Valencia pursue their consolidation in the Japanese market in a wine presentation in Japan organized by the Ivace

The general director of Internationalization, Maria Dolores Parra, explained that seven wineries, with 37 wines, have participated in a wine presentation held at the hotel Imperial in Tokyo which has been attended by importing companies interested in adding Valencian wines to their offer.

The wineries participating in this Ivace initiative are Anecoop Bodegas, Bodegas Vegalfaro, Bodegas Vibe, Enológica Oleana – Marsilea Wines, Joan de la Casa, Neleman Wines and Shukhrat Khakimov & Viticultores. Each one has presented between 3 and 6 wines with a total of 37 references tasted during the presentation.

This action has a format of blended business meeting, since the wineries have attended online meetings since the Valencia, while importing companies tasted their wines in Japan. To do this, they have had tables prepared for wine tasting for each of the wineries and with a screen and a computer through which the virtual meeting with the Valencian wineries has been held.

To facilitate interviews at all times, each winery has had Japanese-Spanish interpreters who facilitate communication between client and winery.

“For the development of this action, with a complete agenda of 35 meetings, a promotional and convening effort has been carried out among wine importing companies in Japan, with the invitation to those that have shown interest in learning about the wines of the Valencian Community. ", has explained Parra

The companies have at all times had the assistance of the Ivace staff at the Japan antenna, in charge of organizing this initiative.

In this sense, María Dolores Parra has explained that the fact that Ivace has a presence in markets as far away both geographically and culturally from the Valencian Community as Japan “is a great asset for Valencian companies, which can access a selection of potential clients carried out by Ivace at destination and thus save resources in a market as complex as the Japanese one,” indicated Parra.
