The president of the Chamber of Spain, Joseph Louis BonetHe emphasized the "great potential" for collaboration between the economies of China and Spain, during his speech at a high-level business meeting.
The event, organized by the CEOE, the Chamber of Spain and Secretary of State for Commerce (through ICEX Spain Export and Investments), was held on the occasion of the visit to Spain of the Chinese vice president, Han Zhen.
Bonet emphasized the need to deepen bilateral economic ties. "We have the common challenge of giving greater depth to our bilateral trade and investment flows"Incorporating a greater number of small and medium-sized enterprises," stated the president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
Bonet also highlighted the intense promotional and cooperation work that the Spanish Chamber has maintained with its Chinese counterparts, such as the CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade). He emphasized the "important results" of these initiatives, mentioning the organization of business meetings, the Spain-China CEO Forum, and the numerous reciprocal business missions.
