The fair will be held from November 1st to 11th at the Feria de Madrid.
HABITALIA 07, the Home Fair, is finalizing space bookings for its third edition, which will take place from November 1st to 11th at the IFEMA Madrid Trade Fair Centre. The positive business outlook generated within the Madrid furniture trade association has resulted in 70 companies already confirming their participation, with nearly 100 exhibitors expected. HABITALIA will once again be held in Hall 9 of the IFEMA exhibition centre, the event's organizer.
Regarding visitor numbers, IFEMA is carrying out an intensive promotional campaign, which includes media outreach and direct mail, among other initiatives. This year, HABITALIA also coincides with SIMO, the International Trade Fair for Information Technology, Multimedia and Communications; and with BROADCAST, the International Professional Trade Fair for
Along the same lines, it is important to note that it is possible to download invitations for HABITALIA from its website. http://www.habitalia.ifema.es/ This, together with the other lines of action aimed at attracting visitors, allows us to foresee that the figure of around 50.000 visitors will be reached, thus far exceeding the 41.307 achieved in the last edition of 2007.
Furthermore, and precisely to make it as easy as possible for visitors to shop for furniture at HABITALIA, the event has been extended this year by two days (from November 1st to 11th). It also includes a weekend and the bank holiday weekend of November 1st. The opening hours remain very generous – from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm – to further facilitate this same goal.
Another new feature of HABITALIA 07 is the significant expansion of the special area known as "Graphic Works," which showcases the paintings of landscape and portrait artists from the Community of Madrid. Specifically, a total of 30 painters have confirmed their participation so far, representing a 30 percent increase compared to 2007. The artists will offer potential clients a wide range of ideas—landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and commissioned works—to enhance that special corner of their home.
