Croatia is, within the Republics that emerged from the disintegration of Yugoslavia, the second country with greater purchasing power and economic development, after Slovenia. Despite being a small market of only 3,8 million inhabitants, it has in its favor a strategic geographical location in southeastern Europe, with privileged access to the Adriatic Sea due to the length of its coast and numerous islands. With the entry into the euro and the Schengen area (January 1, 2023), greater foreign investments are expected in tourism, the environment and renewable energies.
