Cajamar presents 'Freshconomics', a new manual to understand the fruit and vegetable business at Fruit Attraction 2024

 

Within the framework of the International Fair of the Fruit and Vegetable Sector, Fruit Attraction 2024, Cajamar has presented the book 'Freshconomics. The book of the fruit and vegetable business', written by David del Pino, expert in business management in the sector.

 

During the presentation, Eduardo Baamonde, President of Cajamar, highlighted the entity's commitment to the fruit and vegetable sector: "Through our publications we want to contribute to generating knowledge and sharing it as a way to invest in the talent of present and future generations, which will allow us to continue generating wealth for all."

 

The author, David del Pino, is a consultant and expert in business management and global trade of fruits and vegetables, with almost 30 years of experience in the sector.

 

The author, David del Pino, who drew on his experience of almost 30 years, explained that the book is both a practical manual and an autobiography about his career in the sector: “Much of the content is the result of conversations and personal experiences with colleagues, clients and bosses over my 27 years of professional practice.” The project was developed collaboratively through social networks, where Del Pino shared the writing process with his community.

 

The publication also includes the 'Freshipedia', a compilation of vocabulary and oral knowledge from the sector, which seeks to explain decisions and solutions in horticulture in a practical way.
