Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Customs Foundation launch a series of workshops on customs management

 

 

La Madrid Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Customs Foundation, has presented a series of four workshops focused on customs management. 

 

The first workshop, dedicated to customs value of goods, addressed crucial issues such as the meaning and scope of customs value, valuation methods and the relationship between customs value and customs debt.    

 

Ferdinand Salazar, director of the Customs Academy of the Arola Group Foundation and customs inspector on leave, highlighted the importance of these workshops for companies:

 

“As a customs inspector, now on leave, I can assure you that these types of workshops are very helpful and often make life easier for companies, saving them significant costs.”    

 

Salazar also invited companies to participate in the next sessions of the cycle, which will deal with topics such as: customs origin of goods (March 25), the tariff classification (April 29) and the customs regimes (June 10th).
