[Img # 22708]Across the Round table organized by Aeutransmer on April 5, both the loading companies as carriers expressed the need to evolve towards a system in which Coordination of business activities It is not only an exchange of information, but an obligation that really contributes to guaranteeing the safety of workers who access the facilities of a production center or warehouse.

Luz Cachafeiro, representative of Joint Prevention Service from the loading company FINISH, explained the legal foundations that attribute responsibility for coordination to the shipper, as well as the criteria and actions based on which his company manages the CAE, prioritizing the effective safety of workers through simple procedures consistent with their activity.

To Lorena Bernad, from the transport company Global Spedition, one of the problems they encounter is the need to incorporate documentation into a multitude of platforms that, in addition, handle different criteria and documentary formats, with the consequent “bureaucratic” workload. From their point of view, there should be a single information exchange platform, made available to agents by the AA.PP.

Mª Victoria Vizcaíno from SGS TECNO, blamed the Law itself for making coordination difficult, as it is a minimum law that gives rise to the “creativity” of companies. The representative of SGS He gave the example of other sectors of activity that had agreed on the type of documentation that, in compliance with the law, should be exchanged.

Lastly, Gerardo Sacristan, a technician involved in the development and updating of the free PCAE platform, which currently incorporates a total of 8000 companies, considers that, since access to the platform market cannot be limited, regulations would be necessary to regulate and standardize its characteristics and operation.

After the speakers' intervention, an interesting debate was opened during which the attendees presented their experiences and suggestions for improving the CAE.
