Castile and León is preparing for its first major forum on industrial safety.

Castilla y León will host its next Tuesday, June 3, 1st Industry Congress, an initiative of the Board intended to become a crucial meeting point for all actors involved in the industrial securityThe event, managed by the Directorate General of Industry, will bring together technicians from Territorial Services with expertise in this area, as well as a wide range of external stakeholders, from installers and designers to construction managers and regulatory agencies.

The main objective of this pioneering day is twofold: on the one hand, to carry out a exhaustive review of the latest regulatory developments affecting the sector, including the recent Royal Decree on fire safety in industrial establishments and updates to the regulations for industrial facilities; and on the other hand, address new scenarios and challenges that arise in such a dynamic and crucial area for competitiveness and protection.

This congress takes place at a time when the Regional Government of Castile and León has intensified its efforts to promote safety and modernization in the sector. Proof of this is the recent reactivation of the Industrial Safety Agents Table, conceived as a forum for dialogue to improve regulatory development, standardize administrative procedures, and implement awareness campaigns. In addition, the regional government maintains various lines of assistance so companies can invest in improving equipment and adapting their workspaces, thus promoting safer and more efficient work environments.

During the congress, a significant event is also planned: the Delivery of accreditation cards to public employees who perform inspection functions in the field of industrial safety, thus reinforcing their fundamental role in monitoring and enforcing regulations.

It is hoped that this first congress will serve to strengthen ties of collaboration between the Administration and the various professionals and entities operating in the field of industrial safety, laying the foundations for future joint actions that will result in a safer, more innovative, and more competitive industrial fabric in Castile and León. Safety, the organization emphasizes, is not only an obligation, but a strategic investment for the future of the regional industry.
