These companies have been selected from nearly three hundred candidates and represent key sectors such as cybersecurity, water management, food redistribution and real estate investment, with a strong social and environmental commitment.
The objective of the program is to facilitate the implementation of these startups in Spain as a bridge for their expansion in Europe. The initiative responds to the growing interest of the Latin American technology companies for being established in Spain, and for the country it represents an opportunity to receive innovative solutions to challenges such as the green transition and population ageing.

During the program, startups will have the support of important actors in the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem such as Google, Telefonica, Iberia and Sacyr, as well as having access to technical and networking sessions with more than forty specialized speakers. Companies will also receive legal advice for their establishment in Spain and connection with Spanish corporations.
On the welcome day, Elisa Carbonell, CEO of ICEX, highlighted the favourable moment for startups in Spain, underlining the opportunities for financing, hiring talent and global expansion: “The current moment is extremely interesting due to the maturity of the technological entrepreneurship system in Spain.” Fazia Pusterla, representative of IDB Europe, highlighted the importance of collaboration between Latin America and Europe: “This programme allows innovative startups to access the European market through Spain.”
The program, which takes place in Madrid and Valencia, may be extended to other cities such as Malaga, Bilbao and Barcelona, offering startups a complete immersion in the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
