CEAPI meets with four presidents of Latin America to promote business cooperation

The Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI) has organized meetings with the presidents of Ecuador, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic and Belize to exchange ideas on the relations between Spain, the United States and Latin America.

The Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), next to The Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom, belonging to Florida International University (FIU), has organized, within the framework of the 78th UN General Assembly in New York, meetings with four leaders of Latin American countries.

 

Thus, Núria Vilanova, president of CEAPI, and the business leaders of the region have met with santiago pena, president of the Republic of Paraguay; William Lasso, president of the Republic of Ecuador; Luis Abinader, president of the Dominican Republic, and John Briceno, Prime Minister of Belize.

 

The meetings, in addition to conveying the political, social and economic situation of their countries, have been characterized by sharing the factors shared by Spanish-speaking countries such as the finvestment points and strengths ranging from the most traditional to new.

 

“Latin American countries and their entrepreneurs are in a very positive moment that they must take advantage of with nearshoring, the demographic dividend, raw materials and the food chain,” stressed the president of CEAPI.

Núria Vilanova has positively valued the holding of these meetings within the framework of the UN. “We cannot ignore the growing integration between companies in Spain, Latin America and the United States, and CEAPI must be there,” said the president. Vilanova has also emphasized the importance of the 'virtuous triangle' that makes up Spanish, Latin American and American companies.

 

The president of CEAPI has taken advantage of her interventions to announce the celebration of the VII Ibero-American Congress CEAPI, which will be held from June 17 to 19, 2024 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

 

This meeting point for presidents of leading companies and business families will take place, in its new edition, under the motto “Believe, Grow, Create Ibero-America in the face of the challenge of growth and productivity.” An event that already has the support of large entities such as the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), who will be a sponsor.
