CEOE-CEIB participates in the Spain-Colombia Business Meeting: Strengthening relationships and opportunities

With the participation of high-level authorities from both countries, representatives of business organizations, institutions and companies, the Spain-Colombia Business Meeting, organized by ICEX Spain Export and Investments, In collaboration with CEOE, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Bogotá.

 

The meeting, held within the framework of the visit of the Spanish Minister of Economy, Commerce and Business, Charles Body, to Colombia, served as a platform to learn about the investment and cooperation opportunities that currently exist in the country. Key sectors such as water and environment, education, energy, infrastructure, information and communication technologies (ICT) and tourism were analyzed.

 

At the dialogue table "Strengthening economic and business relations between Spain and Colombia", the director of Relations with Latin America of CEOE and permanent secretary of CEIB, Married Narcissus, together with the vice president of the National Association of Businessmen of Colombia (ANDI), Paola Buendia, the advisor to the president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and the general director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Immaculate Riera, agreed to highlight the fundamental role of the private sector in the development of both countries.

ProColombia and ANDI: bilateral meetings to deepen cooperation

 

As part of his visit, Casado will hold meetings with the president of ProColombia, Carmen Caballero, and his team, to follow up on the Ibero-American Tourism Forum, whose second edition will be held in Colombia in 2025. It will also meet with ANDI representatives to deepen business cooperation and explore future joint activities, including Colombia's participation in the next Ibero-American business meeting.
