CEOE International meets with leading Japanese business organizations with a presence in Spain

Shacho Kai and Spain Nisho have assessed possible avenues for collaboration with CEOE and joint activities that could be developed in order to strengthen the visibility of Japanese companies in Spain and Spanish companies in Japan.

President of Shacho Kai and CEO of Omron Electronics, Jose Antonio Cabello and the President of Spain Nissho and General Director of Mitsui & Co. for Spain, Daisuke Chihara, have met with the President of CEOE International, Marta White, accompanied by representatives of both institutions.

During the meeting, the President of Shacho kai reported on the composition, objectives and activities of both his organization and the organization Spain Nissho. Likewise, the current problem of connectivity between Spain and Japan was addressed, hoping that the direct flight of Iberia, resume as soon as possible.

For her part, the president of CEOE International has transferred our relationship and the activity that we have been maintaining over the years with Japan, especially with our counterpart organization of CEOE, Nippon Keidanren.

In this sense, both organizations have assessed possible avenues for collaboration with CEOE and joint activities that could be developed throughout this second semester in order to reinforce the visibility of the Japanese companies in Spain and Spanish companies in Japan, taking into account the more than 40 Spanish companies are established in Japan, the vast majority related to the automotive, energy, fashion, food and beverage sectors and the more than 3.000 Spanish companies are listed as regular exporters with Japan.
