The maritime, port and logistics sectors are in continuous growth and have very high levels of employability. The training offer in these areas is very limited and follows traditional guidelines that involve high costs as well as availability that both students and teachers cannot always optimize. 

 

Program objectives: 

 

• Place the Manager in the business organization, making him see the importance of his role within it within the framework of its specificity.

 

•            Mobilize and improve the potential of leadership of managers by making them aware of the importance of their mission as resource managers (especially humans) and facilitating their knowledge and implementation of management and motivation tools.

 

•            Improve the capacity of Managers to positively influence the work of employees under their direction, stimulating the acquisition and development of the most appropriate skills and obtaining from them the level of commitment necessary to achieve the proposed objectives.

 

• Transfer knowledge to facilitate the work of Managers in their communicative and teaching function, seeking to awaken the interest and stimulate the participation of their workers in the assimilation of knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

These objectives focus on achieving the involvement of Managers in all processes, especially the maritime, port and/or logistics companies and organizations transferring to them the knowledge that will be essential for the search for effectiveness and efficiency in the workplace. 

 

Currently, there is no similar program that covers the specificity and specialty of maritime, port and logistics companies. Training in the aforementioned sectors has an important strategic component for governments and companies since the specific operations and legislation are largely standardized at an international level, thereby facilitating access to the labor market, promoting growth within the company and/or opening expectations to new professional horizons.
