[Img # 22451]El Andalusian Renewable Energy Cluster (CLANER) and Andalusian Knowledge Agency, dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge of the Government of Andalusia, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote advisory and support actions for small and medium-sized Andalusian companies in the clean energy sector, in the field of innovation, business cooperation, knowledge transfer and participation in European financing programs .

The agreement contemplates the development of these activities through CESEAND, European Services Center for Andalusian Companies, which acts as an Andalusian node of the network Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), created by the Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission to strengthen collaboration with the rest of the entities of the Andalusian Knowledge System and publicize the services provided by said network.

Among the benefits offered CESEAND to Andalusian companies is information and advice on policies and business opportunities in European markets, assistance in knowledge transfer processes, access to European R&D funding programs –especially Horizon 2020-, help in finding partners for international business projects, reinforcement of innovation management in SMEs and support for beneficiary companies of the SME instrument, among others.

In addition, the network periodically organizes business events aimed at boosting business growth, especially bilateral meetings (B2B) and international missions.

After signing the agreement, the president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas, has highlighted the value of the agreement signed “for the entire business fabric that makes up renewables in Andalucía "which has at its disposal a tool of enormous help for its growth and development, with all the facilities for accessing new opportunities and carrying out the necessary procedures for this."

For his part, the managing director of the Andalusian Knowledge Agency, Manuel García León, has described the CESEAND node as an “essential instrument” within public initiatives aimed at promoting the transfer of knowledge from the centers generating it to the Andalusian productive fabric. Likewise, he recalled that "the conversion of science and knowledge into goods and services directly affects the improvement of business competitiveness and the creation of qualified and quality employment in Andalusia."
