Financing for Internationalization
The Spanish Development Finance Company (COFIDES) has formalized a financing agreement with BMAT, a music technology company. The aim is to support the acquisition of a company in Italy, thereby strengthening BMAT's strategic position in the sector.
The internationalization of Spanish technology continues to gain ground in the European market. COFIDES has granted financing of 407.705 Euros to the Spanish company BMAT, specializing in digital solutions for copyright management, with the aim of completing the full integration of the Italian firm Metro Media System (MMS) in its corporate structure.
The resources, channeled through the Fund for Investment Operations Abroad for Small and Medium Enterprises (FONPYME)This will facilitate the purchase of the remaining capital of MMS. BMAT had already acquired an initial 70% stake in 2024, a transaction that also had the financial backing of COFIDES.
