COFIDES, the Spanish Development Financing Company, has announced its support for Isigenere, an Alicante company specialized in floating solar systems, in its expansion in United States. The company, creator of the patented system Isifloating, will receive a co-investment loan of 350.000 euros from the Fund for Investment Operations Abroad for Small and Medium Enterprises (FONPYME) to finance the investment in molds necessary to manufacture these structures in the United States.

 

Isifloating It is a system that allows partial or complete coverage of the water surface, taking advantage of aquatic spaces for the generation of renewable energy. This technology is not only environmentally friendly, but also brings clean energy closer to end users, reducing the need to transport energy over long distances.

 

The Isigenere project in the United States is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) from the ONU, particularly with the SDG 13, Climate action. Isifloating technology contributes to the fight against climate change by reducing dependence on fossil fuels and promoting the use of renewable energy.
