The Business Meeting "Investment in the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima: A region at the crossroads of global roads" seeks to promote economic and commercial collaboration between Andalusia and the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima.

Andalusian companies will be provided with relevant information, networking opportunities and a complete overview of the advantages and investment opportunities in the Moroccan region.

The event will feature the participation of Javier González de Lara, President of the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalusia; Karima Benyaich, Ambassador of Morocco in Madrid; Javier Sánchez Rojas, President of the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce; Omar Moro, President of the Council of the Region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima; Jalal Benhayoun, General Director of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Investment Center; Adil Rais, President of the CGEM Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and President of CEMAES; Abdellatif Afilal: President of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services; Hassan Abkari: General Manager of Port Tanger MED; among other important businessmen and authorities from the neighboring region.

This meeting between Andalusia and the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima in Morocco has the following objectives:

• * Present the new Moroccan Investment Charter and the incentives available to attract foreign investment.
• * Highlight the business and investment opportunities for Andalusian companies in the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima.
• * Promote business cooperation between Andalusia and the Moroccan region.
• * Provide detailed information on the region's territorial offer, including its infrastructure, key sectors and competitive advantages.
• * Share success stories of companies that have been successful in the Moroccan market, to inspire and motivate other companies to explore opportunities in the region.
• * Facilitate individual meetings between companies interested in establishing contacts and exploring investment opportunities in specific sectors: Processing Industry, Renewable Energy, Tourism, Recycling, Agribusiness, Aquaculture and Logistics.

 

Highlights:

• 1.- Inauguration: The meeting will begin with the participation of prominent representatives such as the Ambassador of Morocco in Madrid and the President of the Council of the Region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima, among others.
• 2.- Investment incentives: In this block, the new incentives offered within the framework of the new Moroccan Investment Charter will be presented. Representatives from various institutions will address topics such as the Regional Investment Fund, the National Strategy for the Development of Renewable Energy, taxation of investments, the development of the competitiveness of SMEs and the strategy for digital development, among others.
• 3.- Territorial offer of the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima: Investment opportunities in the region will be highlighted, including aspects such as the port and industrial complex of Tanger Med, the industrial offer of MEDZ, the Mlaleh area as a new opportunity investment, opportunities in aquaculture and support for the development of companies in sectors such as ICT, Green Tech and the cultural industry. The tourism potential of the region will also be addressed.
• 4.- Company experience: Success stories of companies that have already done business in the region will be presented, which will provide concrete and practical examples of existing opportunities.
• 5.- Andalusian businessmen interested in meeting with representatives of Moroccan institutions, agencies and companies will have the opportunity to network during the workshops and the cocktail lunch.
