A new trade mission destination
This will be the third trade mission carried out by IPEX in Australia for these sectors, this time organized in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Sydney, in charge of preparing meeting agendas for Castilian-La Mancha companies.

The government Castilla la Mancha, through the Foreign Promotion Institute (IPEX), promotes the group participation of consumer goods, services and contract companies in the direct commercial mission to Australia, which will take place in Sydney and Melbourne between next November 27th and December 1st.
Australia has a prosperous market economy, with per capita income slightly higher than those of United Kingdom, Germany and France, in terms of purchasing power parity. Regarding the Human Development Index, which prepares United Nations to measure the progress of a country and that ultimately shows us the standard of living of its inhabitants, it indicates that the Australian population is among those with the best quality of life.
GDP per capita is a very good indicator of the standard of living and in the case of Australia, in 2022, it was €62.673 euros, ranking 11th in the world.
Australia's GDP rose 0,8% during the first quarter of 2022 compared to the previous year, placing it as the 12th country in the world with the highest gross domestic product.
The tertiary sector of the economy, including tourism, education and financial services, comprises 71% of GDP. Agriculture and the exploitation of natural resources comprise 3% and 5% of GDP respectively, but contribute substantially to national exports.
For what was stated above, Australia constitutes an interesting market for medium-high segment consumer goods and high in fashion, footwear, interior design, cosmetics, construction materials and in tourist services, information technologies or renewable energies that provide high added value.
Aid will be granted for participation in the action of 75% of the justified expenses for meeting agendas, flights and hotels, with a maximum amount of 2.005,50 euros.
Interested companies can register until August 2 through the IPEX electronic headquarters.
