The real estate company Coperfil Group, in collaboration with Banc Sabadell, will develop a network of logistics parks across Spain. This project is known as Logispark. To this end, Coperfil has created a real estate brand—Logispark—dedicated to developing logistics parks throughout the Iberian Peninsula. All of these buildings are available for lease.
To develop its business plan, which includes the Logispark project, Coperfil Group has secured long-term financing managed and underwritten by Banco Sabadell and syndicated with seven other banks. The loan amounts to €80 million and will be used to boost the company's growth.
The total amount of the financing, structured by Banc Sabadell as the agent bank and Alpha Corporate as Coperfil's financial advisor, exceeds one hundred million euros. Coperfil's current real estate business is divided into three key activities: land management, development, and asset management. The group currently has a portfolio of real estate projects that will allow it to develop more than 825.000 square meters of buildable area in projects across the logistics, industrial, retail, and hospitality sectors.
The partnership with investors
"The expansion strategy of Coperfil Group's real estate development business is based on partnerships with leading investors in each sector, allowing for maximum synergies for projects and among partners," the company states.
To date, Coperfil has established three companies for real estate development. In addition to Logispark, dedicated to the construction of logistics parks, the group has created Viapark, for retail parks, and Activa Park, for industrial and business parks.
Coperfil's business plan incorporates investment projects of more than 530 million euros for the period 2004-2007, of which more than 375 million will be developed through the three aforementioned companies.
