Craftgate launches in Spain as part of its international expansion

 

Craftgate, a leading Turkish platform specializing in payment orchestration, has announced its entry into the Spanish market as a first step in its ambitious internationalization strategy Europe and Latin America. Founded in 2020 by Hakan Erdogan (CEO), Murathan Özcan (COO), Sabri Onur Tuzün (CTO) and Lemi Orhan Ergin (Chief Software Crafter), the company offers businesses the ability to integrate and manage payment service providers and alternative methods from a single point.

 

In 2023, Craftgate processed transactions valued at 1.000 millones de euros, experiencing a growth of 443 % compared to the previous year. Craftgate is finalizing its integration with Redsys to access most of the Spanish acquiring banks and offer services such as Bizum. Additionally, it integrates with platforms like Shopify and PayPal, targeting primarily e-commerce.

 

According to McKinsey's Global Payment Report 2024, payment orchestration is a key trend that will define the future of the global financial sector. In line with this trend, online shopping has increased significantly among Spanish consumers.
