Andalusian companies open 39 new business opportunities in Thailand and Vietnam with the support of Andalucía TRADE.

The organization of these trade missions by Andalucía TRADE is co-financed by European funds from the Andalusian FEDER PO 2021-2027, with a community contribution of 85%.

 

The Andalusia TRADE report highlights the growth margin in Thailand, especially in technology, semi-manufactured goods, and large infrastructure projects in areas such as biotechnology, automotive, and packaging machinery. In Vietnam, with its young, skilled population, market niches are opening up for companies with innovative and sustainable solutions, willing to collaborate on joint projects. Vietnam's active participation in trade agreements such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the CPTPP facilitates access to a potential market of more than 600 million inhabitants in Southeast Asia.

By provinces, Seville leads Andalusian exports to Asia, with 524 million euros and a growth of 43%, followed by Huelva and Malaga. The most exported products include metal ores, aircraft and their parts, and olive oil, which, despite a slight drop in value, has experienced a significant increase of 28,7% in volume.
